These schools rank among the top 100 private colleges and universities in the U.S. on Forbes’ 2009 list of America’s Best Colleges. A Wall Street Journal survey of corporate recruiters released Monday about Top 25 Colleges and Schools picked by Job Recruiter Ranking.

The newspaper surveyed 842 top recruiting executives to find the schools that best prepare students to land satisfying, well-paying jobs that also have growth potential. Responses from 479 recruiters were received. As a group, the survey participants hired more than 43,000 new graduates in the past year.

Below are rankings of top national universities what high school counselor think offer the best undergraduate education to their students. They rated the universities on a scale of 1 to 5 – 5 being the highest score. This ranking can be a true top national university ranking what high school students and teachers think.

Regional Universities offer a full range of undergrad programs and some master’s programs but few doctoral programs. These rankings are split into four regions: North, South, Midwest, and West.
