• Four Retiring Professors Honored at Faculty Meeting - Thu, 17 May 2012
  As is the custom at Hamilton, the Dean of Faculty recognizes retiring faculty and hosts a reception in their honor at the last faculty meeting of the academic year. On May 16, Dean of Faculty Patrick Reynolds honored four professors retiring this year: Professor of� Anthropology Charlotte Beck; Jim Bradfield, the Elias W. Leavenworth Professor of Economics; Professor of Government Ted Eismeier; and� Jay Williams ’54, the Walcott-Bartlett Professor of Religious Studies. Following are the tributes Reynolds read.

• Former Procter & Gamble Co. Chairman and CEO to Give Commencement Address - Fri, 11 May 2012
  A.G. Lafley, former chairman and CEO of the Procter & Gamble Co., and chairman of Hamilton’s board of trustees, will deliver the Commencement address at Hamilton on Sunday, May 20, at 10:30 a.m., in the Margaret Bundy Scott Field House. A live webcast of the ceremony will be available online.

• Ambrose Awarded Fulbright Scholar Grant to Croatia - Thu, 10 May 2012
  Professor of History Douglas Ambrose has been awarded a Fulbright scholar grant to teach American studies in Croatia for the 2012-2013 academic year.

• Class & Charter Day, Hamtrek Conclude Academic Year - Mon, 07 May 2012
  Hamilton’s annual Class & Charter Day celebration concluded the 2011-12 academic year on Friday, May 4, with a convocation in the Chapel. Students received prizes for academic achievement and teaching awards were given to faculty members.
